Leaders

Matthew Enger - Scout Leader

Matthew joined the group in 2002 as Assistant Scout Leader and quickly completed his basic training in 2003. In 2004 he was appointed Scout Leader of the group as the Scout Section went through a reshuffle and has held the position ever since. Matthew completed his Wood Badge (Advanced) training in 2005. Matthew is a keen and enthusiastic member of the Troop who believes in allowing the Scouts to discover things for them selves and learn from their own mistakes while being in a safe environment. Matthew has been a Cub in both Hong Kong and Sydney, as well as a Scout in Sydney. Matthew attended the Scout Jamboree in 2007 at Elmore in Victoria.

 

Mark Hulett - Assistant Scout Leader

Marked joined the group in 2001 after training as a Cub Leader for 1st Doncaster West in 1999. He is well respected among the Scouts and his peers as person who is always willing to put in the hard work to get things done with out any nonsense. He is also a fountain of knowledge and is always willing to share and pass on ideas. Mark attended the Australian Jamboree in Adelaide in 2003, taking 9 scouts away for 10 nights. Mark was also Jamboree Troop leader in 2007 at Elmore where he was responsible for looking after 35 scouts and 5 adults.

Christopher Enger - Assistant Scout Leader

Chris joined the group in 2005 and quickly completed his training. He is a young enthusiastic member of the troop team who is looking forward to the year to come. Chris was a Cub in Sydney. Chris has attended the 2007 Jamboree in Elmore where he took on the role of Quarter Master for his Jamboree Troop.

Helen Brydon - Assistant Scout Leader

Helen rejoined the group in 2008 after leaving to go traveling around the world. Previously a cub leader, she has quickly adapted to her new role and enjoys camping and the great out doors.
