Mark and Matthew receive Menzies Community Australia Day Awards

On 26th January 2006 Mark and Matthew received Menzies Electorate Community Australia Day Awards in recognition of their contribution to the community through Scouting. The awards were presented by Federal Member for Menzies, Kevin Andrews MP at the Australian Day ceremonies at Manningham.
Karen Salamon received on behalf of the group an Australian Flag which was flown for 1 day during the previous parliamentary year in the House of Representatives, Canberra.
Matthew Enger
Matthew joined the group in 2002 when it was in great need of a Scout Leader and despite being only a little older then the scouts he has proved a good leader - organized, skilled, trustworthy & enthusiastic. Through his programs he ensures all scouts reach their potential and enjoy scouting! Matthew's efforts and leadership are highly valued.
Mark Hulett
Mark trained as a Cub Leader in 1999 with 1st Doncaster West Group and later transferred to 3rd Doncaster East Group, willingly taking on further training to become Scout Leader. He is respected for his enthusiasm and practical skills which he is happy to impart to others. Mark always puts the welfare of the children in his car foremost.
